We Can Be Free

I know this might sound crazy, but you can ask the space in your life to expand. The space between your cells. Between your bones. You can literally increase the space between your vertebrae, by inviting it to expand.

Over the course of our lives, we can become more and more compressed. This leads to all sorts of health problems. But science has proven that this is not a necessary part of aging; it’s a result of our habits, playing out over time.

We can’t stop aging but we can always change our habits. And right now, you can choose to unfurl your spine. You can choose to let your body begin to open up.

Did you know that there is more empty space in the Universe than tangible matter? Did you know that the same is true in your body?

And right now, you can choose to open up until there is space again, between all of your parts, in your body and in your life.

You can do the same with your thoughts.

You can do the same with your schedule.

And as you re-open this space, you can invite the breath which never runs out and never stops flowing in and out of your body to flow freely through these spaces.

Why would you want to do this? Why should you even care?

Try it, and you'll see.

Some of us have been holding on so tightly for so long that we don't even remember how it feels to let go.

Some of us have become so accustomed to a constant stream of incessant thought that we don't even realize there is another way.

We can be free.

Just try it. It doesn’t have to make sense. Use your imagination. See the space between your cells, your bones and vertebrae, your thoughts, your moments. Let that space expand. Then, allow yourself to breathe, and invite that breath to flow right through all of that open space.

Notice what happens in your body and in your mind. There is something profoundly valuable for us in this.
