I’m learning that it’s not enough to be willing to do the right thing. We have to be willing to do the wrong thing. To walk through the wrong door. To marry the wrong person. To take the wrong job. To spend our time and money the wrong way.
Some of us are in a holding pattern, stuck in a room we should have left a long time ago, because we’re waiting for someone to tell us which door is the right door. That’s not living. Living involves risk and requires trust.
It’s time to leave the room. Pick a door, trust the process, and see what happens.
